Discounted Parking
We are pleased to offer our guests discounted parking at the St James Quarter Car Park (EH1 3BP) at a rate of £15 for a 24-hour period. To access this discounted rate, guests must obtain a parking validation ticket. Please request a validation ticket from a member of our team.
As the car park is located approximately a 5–8 minute walk from the hotel, we recommend dropping off your luggage at the property prior to parking your vehicle.
How to Use the Parking Validation Tickets
Upon entering the St James Quarter Car Park, press the ticket button at the entry gate and park in any available space. When checking out of the hotel, please collect a parking validation ticket from our team Guests may use the validation ticket in one of the following two ways:
1. Pay at a Pay Machine:
Insert the original entry ticket into the pay machine. Press the “Follow-Up Ticket” button. Insert the validation ticket. The rate will then be reduced to the discounted price.
2. Pay at the Exit Barrier:
ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras will detect the vehicle’s registration and display the standard rate. Insert the validation ticket at the barrier to apply the discounted rate.
Should guests require assistance with ticket use, directions within the car park, or have any other questions, help call buttons are available throughout the facility. These are marked with a telephone icon and located at all pay stations and entry/exit barriers. The car park is staffed 24/7, ensuring help is always available when needed.
